This well-established and reputable plastic surgery practice in Nashville is looking for a full time Clinic RN. The primary role of this nurse is to provide personalized patient care, support the practice by performing clinical duties, and to manage all patient care aspects direct by the Surgeon. Some of the job requirements include but are not limited to:


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Tennessee State license ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • Polished presentation: professional, well-groomed appearance

  • Assess and analyze patient care needs and work with the Surgeon to coordinate plan of care
  • Responsible for complete electronic documentation with accuracy for the care administered
  • Prepare patient charts at the beginning of the day for patient consultations
  • Greet patients and escort them from the waiting room to exam rooms; prepares patients for consultation
  • Accompany Surgeon in consultation and post-operative appointments
  • Manage and ensure quality of patient before and after photos
  • Be familiar with sterile technique
  • Assist Surgeon with small procedures carried out in the clinic
  • Address patient questions/concerns and triage patient phone calls
  • Stock clinic supplies
  • Sterilize instruments
  • Responsible for calling in prescriptions for patients and managing patient comfort
  • Conduct patient post op care which includes but is not limited to: wound care, dressing changes, drain removal, suture removal, etc.
  • Educate patients through the pre & post-operative process
  • Perform all other tasks and projects assigned by the Surgeon, Nurse Manager or Office Manager
  • Uphold all patient confidentiality (HIPAA) laws and guidelines established by the practice
  • Understand and deliver quality customer service consistent with the practice values
  • Follow established policies and procedures related to the position
  • Adapt and perform effectively in a continuously changing environment, and in occasional difficult situations
  • Communication, conduct, and dress in a way that portrays a professional quality at all times


8:00am -- 5:00pm Monday - Thursday
8:00 am – 1:00 pm Friday with additional hours as required
