Halo™ - Laser Resurfacing at NAshville Cosmetic Surgery

Nashville Cosmetic Surgery is one of the first offices in Tennessee to have the new Sciton Halo™ laser - the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser for laser resurfacing.

How is Sciton Halo Laser Different From Other Lasers?

Sciton Halo laser is an exciting new laser technology which combines the benefits of 3 separate laser treatments into one.  We now can address sun damage, surface texture, and fine lines and wrinkles in a combined treatment with a much easier and quicker healing experience than any other laser on the market today.  In addition, it is the only laser that effectively targets large pores.

How Does It Work?

Halo™ delivers both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to the same area at the same time using two different laser frequencies. “This allows us to dial in the amount of energy we want to use on the surface layer of the skin and, at the same time, to dial in a different amount and depth of energy to the deeper tissues. Our patients get the benefit of the quick recovery time of a non-ablative laser with the better effect of an ablative laser. It really does combine the best of both worlds into a single treatment," says Dr. Griffin.

  • Correct pigmentation problems and spots

  • Tighten skin that has lost elasticity due to aging

Dr. Griffin's Approach to Laser Resurfacing

Dr. Griffin uses the Sciton Halo™ laser to treat wrinkles, pigmentation, sun damage, acne scarring, and overall skin rejuvenation. This procedure is performed in his Nashville Cosmetic Surgery office. Most patients require two treatments and there is little to no downtime.  As with all lasers avoiding the sun after this procedure is critical.

Dr. Griffin and his staff have been working with Halo™ for the past few months and are excited to start providing this new technology to patients in Nashville, Tennessee.  If you would like to learn more about the Halo laser skin resurfacing, schedule a consultation online or call our office at (615) 321-1003.
