This post-bariatric surgery patient presented for arm lift (Brachioplasty) evaluation after achieving a remarkable 185-pound weight loss through gastric bypass surgery. Her physical examination revealed significant skin laxity and redundant subcutaneous tissue of the bilateral upper arms, extending from the axilla to the elbow. The surgical plan included bilateral arm lift procedures to address the excess skin and tissue, with careful attention to optimal scar placement. Her 5-month post-operative results demonstrate significant improvement in upper arm contour with the elimination of redundant tissue, creating a more proportionate appearance that better reflects her substantial weight loss achievement.
