This 59-year-old post-bariatric surgery patient presented for arm lift (Brachioplasty) evaluation after achieving a 120-pound weight loss through gastric sleeve surgery. At 5’6″ and 180 pounds, her physical examination revealed significant skin laxity of the bilateral upper arms, which caused both physical irritation and emotional distress. She expressed frustration with the excess skin interfering with her daily activities. The surgical plan included bilateral brachioplasty procedures to remove redundant tissue, with meticulous attention to scar placement. Her 6-month post-operative results demonstrate significant improvement in upper arm contour, eliminating the source of her discomfort and creating a more proportionate appearance that complements her weight loss achievement.
