We Really Believe in Sunscreen.
If you have been in our office, you know that we place a high priority on sunscreen. Not only does it help protect you from the risk of skin cancer, it is one of the basic foundations for a good anti-aging skincare routine. After all, sun damage is the number one cause of loss of skin elasticity and pre-mature aging. Think wrinkles and sagging skin. So you want to make sure that you are getting the best protection from both UVA and UVB rays.
These days most of us know the importance of wearing sunscreen to help protect our skin from the sun’s harmful rays. But I will bet that if asked what is most important to look for in a sunscreen, few could tell you. Most of you would probably answer SPF. And while having an SPF of at least 30 is important, it is not the most important factor to consider.

Ingredients Matter.
Once you know the right ingredients for the best protection the rest is just a matter of answering a couple of questions. Questions like, are you looking for an everyday use sunscreen, or a sunscreen for outdoor activities like going to the beach, running or sporting events? What is your skin type and skin sensitivity? And last, personal preferences with smell and feel. There are lots of things to consider when choosing the best sunscreen, but what is most important is that you find a sunscreen with the right ingredients that you will use.
