Breast Augmentation Before & After: Correcting Asymmetry with Fold Adjustment

This 40-year-old patient presented with breast asymmetry, characterized by a lower positioned left breast, seeking both volume enhancement and improved symmetry. At 5’3″ and 120 pounds, her examination revealed asymmetric inframammary fold positions. The surgical plan included submuscular placement of 400cc moderate-profile smooth round silicone implants, combined with strategic lowering of the right inframammary fold to match the left breast position. This dual approach of implant placement and fold modification was selected to address both the volume and positional asymmetry concerns. Her 6-month post-operative results demonstrate enhanced breast volume with improved symmetry through balanced fold positioning and harmonious breast contours.
