This patient depicts many of the signs of early aging including cheek descent, skin laxity along the jawline and neck, and heaviness around the mouth. Many women are now choosing to have early correction of facial aging for two main reasons. One, by doing the surgery early, they prevent more pronounced signs of aging that build over time and two, they don’t have a drastic difference after surgery that is noticeable to friends and family.
