BOTOX® Cosmetic & Dysport® in Nashville, TN
Dysport® and BOTOX® Cosmetic are very popular with Nashville women and men who want to reduce wrinkles and fine lines such as crow’s feet, forehead lines, and creases between the brows. These lines are created by the repeated contraction of the underlying muscles, which over time can etch these “dynamic wrinkles” into the skin. These treatments work by temporarily preventing the muscles in the targeted areas from contracting and are an excellent non-surgical option for individuals who want to achieve smoother, younger-looking skin.
What Can BOTOX Treat?
Both BOTOX and Dysport can effectively treat the following concerns:
- Fine lines around the eyes (crow’s feet)
- Furrows on the forehead
- Loose skin on the neck
Why Visit Us for BOTOX?
These days, injections seem to be offered on every street corner. However, “street corner” injections will not always give you the best results or desired corrections. The best results are the ones that are not easily noticed by others. If you can tell someone has been injected just by looking at her, chances are it was not administered by a well-trained and artful injector.
Dr. Griffin, with more than 15 years of experience with injecting, is one of the few physicians in the U.S. qualified as an “expert injector.” In fact, of the 1.2 million doctors in the nation who are legally allowed to perform injectable treatments like BOTOX and dermal fillers, only 7% are qualified by the ExpertInjector™ program.
Nashville Cosmetic Surgery is a credentialed ExpertInjector office, meeting stringent criteria for this certification. Always look for the ExpertInjector seal before getting your injections.

Working under the direct supervision of Dr. Griffin, our clinical nurse injectors have trained closely with Dr. Griffin as well as with accomplished experts in cosmetic injectables. This expertise shows! Our patients routinely comment on the light touch and fabulous results. Our goal is for you to never leave our office looking unnatural or over-injected.

Pricing That Makes Sense
We price by the unit, not by the area treated. Some faces require more product than others to achieve the desired result. Pricing by the unit, not the area, ensures that you to only pay for what your face needs.
What Should You Expect During Your First BOTOX Treatment?
At your initial consultation, one of Dr. Griffin’s qualified and skillfully trained registered nurse injectors will evaluate your health, discuss your medical history and assess the contours of your face. They will then review your goals and make recommendations based on their evaluation. The techniques used in BOTOX injections will be described in detail, and informational materials will be provided. Be sure to notify them of any medicine you are taking and if you have any allergies, active skin issues or illnesses that affect your nerves and muscles.
Your first visit to our office for treatment will last approximately 45 minutes. After the initial consultation, the entire process takes only about 15 minutes with no downtime afterward.
No anesthesia is required for BOTOX injections, although if you are concerned about or sensitive to pain, topical anesthetic cream can be used to numb the area. You will be asked to move certain facial muscles in order to determine the best points to inject BOTOX. The substance will be injected directly into the muscles at several points in the area to be treated.
After Your Procedure
After the procedure, you are free to continue with your normal activities. Occasionally, some patients may experience slight discomfort, redness or bruising at the injection site but usually goes away within an hour of treatment. Results vary from person to person, and it’s important to discuss any allergies or skin concerns you have with our skin care professionals prior to treatment.
Although results aren’t immediate, you can expect to see noticeably smoother skin within just a few days. Your treatment with BOTOX will continue to improve your appearance for up to 30 days.
Visible results vary from person to person, but most patients can expect results to last up to 4 months. Repeat treatments are required to maintain a youthful appearance and prevent wrinkles from returning. Discuss with Dr. Griffin how often you should repeat BOTOX treatments.
Part of the New You
If you have had facial plastic surgery such as a brow lift, facelift, or eyelid enhancement, wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers can enhance your beauty transformation. In fact, they can prolong the results of your facial surgery and get the most for your commitment to maintaining a youthful appearance. Regular touch-ups take only a few minutes to perform and the results last for several months.
