Using a highly individualized approach, our licensed aestheticians will work with you to address your skin issues and goals. We incorporate the latest treatments and pharmaceutical grade products that, over time, will affect a noticeable change in your skin. Whether you’re 20 or 70, we want you to love the skin you’re in and understand how to care for it.

At Nashville Cosmetic Surgery, medical professionals perform and supervise skin enhancement and anti-aging procedures for both men and women. We strongly believe in educating our patients so that they understand their skin, how it changes between seasons and with age, and the role of each product we recommend for you.

Our medical grade skincare products are of higher strength and better quality than those available in standard day spas and department stores. We also customize a unique regimen for your skin. The bottom line is that your skin is nourished (or not) by the products you apply and the way you apply them. We help you understand that process so you don’t make costly “mistake purchases” that languish in your bathroom drawer. Make the investment in learning how to care for your skin, what products and procedures work to reverse skin issues, and how to slow the aging process. It will pay off in the long run.

Chemical peels have been used for decades as a way to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve texture, diminish acne, and lessen pigment. The process involves applying a chemical to the damaged outer layers of skin to reveal a more vibrant complexion. Chemical peels can be applied many times to areas of the body including face, neck, chest, back, legs, and hands with little to no downtime.

We generally recommend a series of 4 to 6 peels, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, to achieve maximum results. These peels are appropriate for almost every skin type and are a convenient treatment that can be done over your lunchtime! Mild peels usually take about 20 minutes and most patients notice an improvement in texture and skin appearance immediately.

Nashville Cosmetic Surgery offers a variety of different chemical peel options that can be tailored to address individual skin issues. We encourage you to schedule a consultation with one of our skincare providers to determine which peel would be best for you.

Your Options

GPA Peel | The GPA (gamma poly acid) Peel, is a mild peel that can be used on all skin types to exfoliate and nourish dull skin. GPA provides antioxidant support to the skin to enhance moisture retention while delivering products deeper into the cells. Patients usually see immediate results in texture and overall skin radiance. This is a perfect peel to give your skin a glow before an event. It requires little to no downtime and doesn’t create sun sensitivity.

Customized Multi-Layer Peel | The Customized Multi-layer Peel is a combination of alpha-hydroxy acids and retinol. The combination of these ingredients allows the peel to work while limiting the ionization of free acids commonly associated with irritating properties of many chemical peels. This means maximum results with minimal downtime. Patients notice diminished fine lines and wrinkles, improved tone and texture, smaller pores and reversal of sun damage and pigmentation. This peel requires a 20-minute application time, and you’ll leave the office wearing the peel for 2 hours.

HydraFusion Peel | The HydraFusion Peel combines lactic and uric acids in a mild peel to give maximum exfoliation and moisturizing benefits to dry and dehydrated skin. This is a peel that is perfect for pre- or post-laser patients or skin that has been exposed to the elements. Both men and women can benefit from exfoliation and added hydration. We perform this peel on lots of our male patients.

Melanage Peel | The Melanage Peel is a combination of retinol and arbutin that effectively removes the surface layers of damaged skin to address uneven skin tone and deep pigment issues, including melasma. The peel is applied in our office and removed by the patient at home. Patients receive an at-home aftercare program, which is included in the cost of treatment to enhance the effects of the peel. This is the perfect peel for those with concerns about texture, superficial acne scarring or pigmentation as an alternative to laser treatments.
